About Us

The Texas House Early Childhood Caucus is a bipartisan coalition that promotes evidence-based policies to advance the safety, health, and education of all Texas children ages zero to eight.

Our goal is to ensure that:

  • every Texas child is prepared to learn by kindergarten

  • early childhood professionals have the resources necessary to be able to deliver premium services

  • each community in Texas has a system of well-organized early childhood services

  • data is used to coordinate and collaborate support for children, families, and their needs.

Partner With Us

Our work would not be possible without direct financial support from our partners. By investing in the caucus today, you invest in the Texas of tomorrow. The Early Childhood Caucus of the Texas House is funded by our members and our Caucus Partners – early childhood leaders who generously support our ongoing operations through donations.

“We’re really excited to see so many legislators committed to ensuring that our state policies give kids a strong start in life. From bolstering child care to providing health coverage to little kids to tackling the COVID academic slide for English Learners and other young students, we know there are a lot of opportunities for legislators to come together to support our youngest kids in Texas.
